The Almeida Academy is for little people with BIG ideas.
Almeida Academy runs projects during school holidays providing exciting theatre workshops for young people aged 5–14. Sessions aim to build confidence, creativity and social skills. We believe in investing in young artists from this young age, to nurture and drive their creativity and curiosity.
The Almeida Academy puts these young creators at the centre of all our work and young people have the opportunity to work with industry professionals, who learn as much from the young people as the young people learn from them. It is this reciprocal relationship that allows the work to be bold, adventurous and playful.
We are ambitious in our vision of the work we create with the Almeida Academy and embrace the fun and colourfulness of each individual in every session.
