Almeida For Free returns this Thursday 30 May: a one-day festival of free events and performances exclusively for anyone aged 25 and under around our production of Three Sisters.
Events will include:
A free performance of Three Sisters directed by Rebecca Frecknall. This performance will be Captioned and Audio Described (with Touch Tour)
'Free Sisters' Panel Discussion on sisterhood featuring Mandeep Dhillon, Davina Hamilton, Isobel Waller-Bridge and Grace Victory
'Epic Fails' Spoken-Word Sessions with Yomi Sode
Directing Masterclass with Rebecca Frecknall
Three Sisters Insight Workshop with Almeida Resident Director, Ebenezer Bamgboye
A foyer stage of live music, poetry and spoken-word curated by the Almeida Young Producers
The festival will also include free lunch, performances from emerging artists and other drop-in events throughout the day.
Tickets will go on-sale at 5pm on Thursday 9 May. We will also be operating an online waiting-list system for the performance of Three Sisters which will open following advance tickets of the performance.
