Brave New Works: An Evening Dining with the Almeida

Thurs 30 Mar

Brave New Works will see us host numerous dinners in restaurants across London, followed by a very special VIP after party at the Almeida.

At the Almeida artists are at the centre of our work. We invest in brave new work that asks big questions; of plays, of theatre and of the world around us. The evening will be a chance to meet leading Almeida artists in an intimate setting while ticket sales from the evening will go directly to our fundraising efforts to support the development of new work at the theatre.

In 2015/16 more people experienced our work than ever before. We worked with more than 250 artists, engaged new talent, and mentored young writers and directors at the start of their careers and commissioned eight new plays. Our Spring Season 2017 sees James Graham’s Ink and Christopher Shinn’s Against - the fruits of this investment.

The Almeida is a not for profit theatre and registered UK charity. We must raise more than £1.7m each year through fundraising and events to enable us to build on our success and invest in bold and relevant new work.
