The Creative Board are a group of five young people aged 19 - 24 on a yearlong training programme focused on producing and artistic programming. With support and mentoring from the Almeida Theatre team, the Creative Board will work together over the course of one year to:
- Produce one-off events, performances and fundraisers for Young Friends of the Almeida
- Produce and commission a programme of young people’s performances and activity
- Attend producing, marketing, fundraising and programming workshops
- Attend theatre-making masterclasses
- Attend Almeida Theatre and Almeida Participation events
- Achieve an Arts Award Qualification
- Take on extra paid opportunities where available

In August 2015 the Creative Board developed and produced Labyrinth the culmination of a unique series of workshops developing young artists, supported by Almeida creatives and producers. From these workshops a selection of five new short were written, performed, directed, stage managed and produced by talented Young Friends of the Almeida and performed at the Almeida Theatre.
