Hamlet on BBC: Available to watch now

Robert Icke's production of Hamlet was broadcast on BBC Two on Saturday 31 March and is now available to stream on BBC iplayer until 30 April 2018 and to download until 1 May. 

The full cast features Andrew Scott as Hamlet, Angus Wright as Claudius, Jessica Brown Findlay as Ophelia and Juliet Stevenson as Gertrude. The cast is completed with Barry Aird(Francesico/Gravedigger), Madeline Appiah (Guildenstern), Marty Cruickshank (Player Queen),Calum Finlay (Rosencrantz), Joshua Higgot (Horatio), Daniel Rabin (Reynaldo), David Rintoul (Ghost/Player King), Maanuv Thiara (Marcellus), Luke Thompson (Laertes), Peter Wight (Polonius) and Matthew Wynn (Bernardo, Player 3, Priest).

Produced by Ambassador Theatre Group, Sonia Friedman Productions and the Almeida, Hamlet has designs by Hildegard Bechtler, with lighting by Natasha Chivers, sound by Tom Gibbons, and video design by Tal Yarden. Casting is by Julia Horan.

The programme was commissioned by Patrick Holland, Controller, BBC Two and Emma Cahusac, Commissioning Editor, Arts and made by Illuminations Television.
