How do I access the live stream?
Once you’ve purchased a ticket, you will be able to access the performance by going to your ‘Recordings & Live Streams’ section in the My Account section of the website here.

You will need to be logged in with the same account you purchased the ticket with.

Are there are a limited number of tickets?
Yes. There are a limited number that can watch the performance streamed live - this will ensure viewers receive a high-quality stream. We will be making a recording of the live stream available to purchase and watch on-demand following the live stream.

What is the running time?
The production is approximately 90 minutes long, with no interval. However there will also be a live Q&A with some of the company after the show.

When does booking close?
Booking for the live stream closes two hours before the performance start time (5.30pm GMT).

How many tickets do I need to book?
You need to book one ticket per screen, even if you are watching with multiple people on the same screen.

If you want to access the steam from multiple devices or from multiple households, you need to purchase a ticket for each device. You will not be able to share your link to the performance with others.

Can I watch if I don’t live in the UK?
Absolutely! We want as many people to be able to watch the performance and enjoy our production. But make sure you check the start time in your time zone.

What time zone is the performance time in?
The performance start time is always given in local time, currently Greenwich Mean Time (GMT). Make sure you’ve checked what time the live stream will start in your time zone if watching from outside of the UK here.

Will the performance be subtitled?
We will be making a recording of the live stream available with subtitles. We are aiming to have this recording available to rent on-demand from Friday 18 December.

Will the performance be audio described?
We will be making a recording of the live stream available with audio description available. We are aiming to have this recording available to rent on-demand from Friday 18 December.

Will I be able to watch it again after the live stream ends?
We are aiming to have a recording of the live steam available to rent on-demand from Friday 18 December.

On which devices will I be able to watch the video?
You will be able to watch the live stream on any device, such as a computer, smartphone or tablet with a stable internet connection.

Can I watch the performance on my phone?
Yes, you will be able to watch the live stream on a smartphone with a stable internet connection.

Can I cast the performance to a TV?
No, currently our live stream platform isn’t compatible with casting devices such as Google Chromecast or Amazon Fire Stick.

How much are tickets?
Tickets are £10, £15, £20 or £25.

Why are there different ticket prices?
Each ticketholder will have access to the same view and performance. We ask that audiences consider paying close to what they would normally spend on a theatre ticket.

How will you be streaming the performance?
The performance will be live streamed directly to the Almeida Theatre website. Only those who have purchased tickets will be able to access the live stream in their Recordings & Live Streams section of My Account here.

Can I book tickets for a school or other organisation?
We are hoping to make a recording available free to schools in the future. Please complete our form to request the recording, and our Participation team will contact you shortly.

Will the performance be different to the production in the theatre?
No, we will film the production as it is performed in the theatre (in front of a socially distanced audience) live on the night.
