Reimagining Uncle Vanya

Over nine weeks in the spring of 2016, 16 innovative theatre artists worked with students from 6 of our partner schools to reimagine Robert Icke’s production of Chekhov’s Uncle Vanya in response to Hildegard Bechtler’s design.

The artists introduced the students to a number of different theatrical forms and enabled the students to create and present work that challenged the notion of naturalism and voiced their experiences of the world.
