Staging Richard III
10.30am - 12noon Wednesday 29 June

This interactive, onstage event for schools will reveal the backstage elements involved in bringing Shakespeare's dark, political thriller to life.

Director of Participation Dani Parr will work with actors on key scenes from the play to practically explore the theatrical potential of the text and provide an insight into the staging decisions made during the creation of the Almeida's production.

Examining the actors' physical and vocal performance alongside specific design choices, this is a perfect opportunity for students studying Drama to gain a deeper understanding of current theatre practice and develop their ability to analyse and discuss live performance in line with the national curriculum.
