Greyscale's Theatre Brothel

By Greyscale

Directed By Ragga Dahl Johansen

production information

So, you’ve put on your coat, fed the cat, left the house and come to the theatre. And now what? What do you want? Do you want to laugh? To cry? To escape? Or do you just want to sit in the dark and watch? Allow Greyscale’s charismatic hosts to personally tailor your evening of entertainment.

The Theatre Brothel is a brand new theatrical experience featuring an exciting array of new and established talent, including work from Pin the Tale and Inua Ellams. Stories knot, twist and unravel but essentially these plays are utterly unpredictable: the script only tells half the tale, leaving space for moments when an actor addresses the audience directly, and waits for a reply…

By turns provocative, funny and dramatic, ensemble company Greyscale treat you to an evening that will leave you feeling utterly sated. Fresh from highly successful runs at Northern Stage, Newcastle and the Hull Truck Theatre, Greyscale bring their unique Theatre Brothel to the Almeida Theatre
