Hamlet for Free Festival
By Hannah Wood
Directed By Christopher Elmer-Gorry
Almeida Participation invites you to play a new interactive theatre game, combining storytelling, gaming and the ingredients of a classic thriller.
Playing in teams of four you will set out to solve a multi-locational murder mystery around Islington.
Prepare to detect the lies and uncover the truth as you encounter characters and situations where your choices impact on how your story unfolds.
Win or lose, how this story ends is up to you.
Created in response to Robert Icke’s production of Hamlet and inspired by its themes, this playful alternate reality game – written by Hannah Wood and directed by Christopher Elmer-Gorry – has been developed with the Almeida’s Young Producers and will see fearless young actors thrust you into the centre of the action.
