production information

An enormous man strides through western landscapes in a place called “the Badlands.” His dead wife visits him at night in fever dreams. And somewhere else, warmer and decades into the future, in a place called “Graceland,” another man lies facedown on a toilet. They speak American. They happen to be played by women.

This is RoosevElvis, a new work-in-progress by New York ensemble, the TEAM, which will premiere in 2013 in co-production with the Gate Theatre and Brooklyn’s Bushwick Starr.

RoosevElvis is a scratch performance followed by a Question and Answer session with the company.
