Almeida For Free
Tickets available for those aged 25 and under as part of the Almeida For Free Festival.
A debate as part of Almeida For Free festival for 25s and under.
Are you sick of the words ‘female director’? Do you spend a lot of time wondering why ‘male director’ isn’t said enough? Do you long for a future when ‘director’ can just mean director?
Or is gender part of your identity as an artist? Is art always gendered? Does female director mean something different – and is that a good or bad thing? What does it mean to be a female director today? What does the future look like for female directors?
Join us for this debate, where you can submit questions in advance to our panel and then be involved in a discussion which will be recorded and written up after the event.
