For every second we fail to listen, something will disappear. Maybe it already has.

The world premiere of this new short film written by Ella Road (The Phlebotomist) is a powerful call to arms to find a new way of living. The cast includes Patterson Joseph, Anjana Vasan and Annie Firbank alongside Almeida Young Company actors.

The screening will be followed by a Q&A with members of the cast and creative team.

Something Will Disappear is part of the Shifting Tides festival.

Due to popular demand, this event will also be live-streamed on the Almeida's YouTube channel.

The Q&A panel will also include Tanya Ramsurran and Louis VI.

This event will last approximately one hour.

Theatre includes: Rebel Music (Birmingham Rep); The Chronices of Kalki (Gate Theatre); The Island ​(Young Vic/JMK Award); The Red Helicopter / Napoleon Blownapart ​(Arcola Theatre).

Alex is a director and facilitator who has run projects and workshops at the National Theatre; Old Vic; Lyric Hammersmith and Birmingham Rep. He is the Participation Associate at the Almeida.
