Six Artists in Search of a Play
PART I - PERFORMANCE
Using Czesław Miłosz’s seminal 1950’s poem You Who Wronged, five creatives spent a day together exploring the notion that it is artists’ responsibility to hold those in power, those who wronged us, accountable. The outcome of that day will be shared with audiences in the evening in the form of an experimental performance.
PART II - PANEL DISCUSSION
From partition to the Iron Curtain, theatre has played a huge part in Polish opposition. How do contemporary Polish directors view the role of theatre and their own role in society?
Panelists include Anna Augustynowicz and Julia Holewińska.
Community partnership for this event provided by POSK Polish Centre.
