The Almeida Café Bar is open from 11am to 11pm, Monday to Saturday.
All day for everyone
The café is light and airy in the daytime, ideally situated just off Upper Street with newspapers and Wi-Fi available. In the evening it becomes a lively bar for the public, audiences and actors alike. Whether you are catching up with some work over a cappuccino during the day, meeting friends for a quiet lunch or starting your evening at the theatre with us, we offer a range of coffees, roasted by Smith’s, a carefully chosen list of wines and a changing list of cocktails.
Simple, quality food, freshly prepared and locally sourced
We believe in small-scale, simple and sustainable. We value working with local suppliers and serve charcuterie from Cobble Lane, gin from Sacred Distillery, beers from Hammerton Brewery & Umbrella and ice cream from Udderlicious. Our bread is freshly baked for us and everything else we cook fresh in our small kitchen.
Main dishes are served from 12pm–7pm. Our bar menu, featuring small plates and sharing platters is available both before and after the performance.
