Fundraising Regulator
The Almeida Theatre is registered with the Fundraising Regulator, which stands up for best practice in fundraising, in order to protect donors and support the vital work of fundraisers.
In registering we agree to fundraise according to the regulator’s strict set of codes and adhere to the Fundraising Promise, ensuring that our fundraising is legal, open, honest and respectful.
The Fundraising Regulator was formed in 2016, replacing the Fundraising Standards Board, and works in partnership with other regulators and representative bodies in the charitable and fundraising sectors to build public confidence and ensure consistent fundraising standards across the UK.
