Young Producers

Our Young Producers are a group of young people aged 16-25 who want to learn about theatre producing and planning creative projects for young people. They started in October 2016 and will work together for six months to develop their organisational, communication and team-working skills and their knowledge of how professional theatre is created.  They are currently working towards producing Answers Back events (panel and discussion events lead by young people) and are curating a week of activity for young people during our run of Hamlet in April 2017.

Jack Tricker
Age: 21
If you could pick a character to rule the world, who would it be?
Neville Longbottom - He stays true to what he believes in and is always willing to help his friends in any situation. An unsung hero and definitely worthy of ruling the world.
What's the greatest play never written?
A comedy based on shaming misogyny. It's something which is very rarely spoken about within the theatre. I think there's something very interesting in dissecting and degrading the constructs of masculinity through the use of comedy. I picture it being based on a London tube train. Food for thought I think.
Which actor would you cast as you in the play of your life?
It's got to be Johnny Depp (especially in Tim Burton movies). His bonkers persona would suit the play of my life perfectly.
