24 (Day): The Measure of My Dreams

Directed by Jack Nurse, Annie Jenkins’ 24 (Day) is the first in a trilogy of plays bringing together local artists, community performers and professional creatives to explore what it means to live, work, love, pray, celebrate and mourn in Islington.
The Key Workers Cycle

The Key Workers Cycle was a collection of new plays by Francesca Beard, Sonali Bhattacharyya, Josh Elliott, Annie Jenkins, Eno Mfon, Nessah Muthy, Danusia Samal, Yomi Ṣode and Molly Taylor that celebrate the stories of those who keep our daily lives running, performed by professional actors, local community participants and real-life key workers. Produced in partnership with All Change, Clean Break and Graeae.
The Wave Community Response Project

In connection with the 2019 Almeida Young Company performance of The Wave, we invited community members to create a short response performance. The participants worked with Jess Latowicki and Tim Cowbury, from Made In China Theatre.
Shuffle

Shuffle was a devised piece, exploring the effect of music, song and dance with members of the community. It had the theme of power, both personal and collective, inspired by Dance Nation. It was directed and devised by Dani Parr, Simon Carroll- Jones and Jordana Golbourn and was composed by Suzy Davies

Mon 14 – Tue 15 Nov 2016
Responding to Ella Hickson’s play Oil, and created from a series of workshops with women aged 17 to 97, 2066 explored the relationship between mothers and daughters. It was written by Sonali Bhattacharyya and directed by Dani Parr. It was performed by Sophie Melville and Sarah Goddard.
Projects with Arsenal and the Community
We worked on two projects with Arsenal in the Community, one that responded to Leo Butler’s play Boy in 2016 and the other to Christopher Shinn’s play, Against in 2017.
