On Thu 19 Feb we are hosting a free performance of American Psycho and a Masterclass and Q&A with Ebenezer Bamgboye – both events exclusively for those aged 25 and under. Scroll down for more information on each event.
Tickets for all events will go on sale on Mon 16 Feb at 5pm.
All events as part of Almeida For Free are free and exclusive to audiences aged 25 and under.

Due to a high level of ticketholders not attending previous For Free performances, this performance of American Psycho has been oversold. This means your booking does not guarantee you a seat. Seating for ticketholders will be allocated on a first-come first-served basis, with tickets being available to collect at the Box Office from 5.30pm on Thu 19 Feb. While we hope to accommodate everyone who attends, we suggest that you aim to arrive early to avoid disappointment.
Any tickets not collected by 7pm will be offered to the returns queue.
There is an idea of a Patrick Bateman, some kind of abstraction, but there is no real me, only an entity, something illusory.
Patrick Bateman has it all – looks, money, style and status. Engaged to the beautiful Evelyn Williams, he is about to win the prestigious Fischer account for his investment bank and celebrate by dining at Dorsia. But there’s another side to his life that Patrick keeps secret. And people – including those closest to him – keep disappearing…
Almeida Artistic Director Rupert Goold revisits his ★★★★★ “outrageously entertaining” (The Times) musical, from the composer of Spring Awakening. An Almeida sell-out success, this darkly satirical commentary on capitalism “leaves us all dangerously entertained” (The Guardian).
Please note tickets are limited to two per booker for Almeida For Free: American Psycho. Any tickets booked over this number will be returned. This policy is in effect to discourage and prevent unfair ticket buying practices. Proof of age must be brought to the performance for each ticketholder.
We have a limited amount of extra tickets available for youth groups who would like to attend. Please contact participate@almeida.co.uk if you would like to request tickets for your group.

ARTISTIC VISION and VOICE: Masterclass & Q&A with Ebenezer Bamgboye

Join former Almeida Resident Director and current Southwark Playhouse Programming Associate Ebenezer Bamgboye (The Lonely Londoners) for a masterclass on finding your artistic vision and voice, and how to communicate it, including how to get your work programmed, and how to programme new work!
This workshop is suitable for artists, theatre-makers and aspiring artistic directors.
Ebenezer will direct Desire Under the Elms, by Eugene O’Neill at the Almeida in November 2026.
